Collagen-Stimulating Age-Reversing Long-Lasting

THE BEAUTY IS IN THE DETAILS
Preventing Collagen Breakdown & Stimulating Collagen Production
It is totally inevitable that we all will lose facial fat, collagen (-1% each year), and bone structure as we age. Factors like smoking, UV radiation or sun exposure, and sugar consumption break down collagen even more quickly. Sunscreen and a healthy diet go a long way. Luckily- science is on our side and we have ways to stimulate our bodies to make new collagen and elastin. To counteract this decline, we employ various collagen-stimulating procedures, such as Sculptra, Microneedling, and Exosomes, designed to rejuvenate the skin from within, called Collagen Banking.
What is Collagen Banking?
Collagen banking is a proactive approach aimed at building up a reserve of collagen in the skin to mitigate future collagen loss and promote sustained skin health and vitality. The concept involves starting to invest in collagen-stimulating treatments early on, such as Sculptra injections, microneedling, and Exosomes, and other collagen-stimulating procedures, in your mid 20’s and 30’s to stimulate collagen production. By doing so, you can "bank" or accumulate more collagen in your skin, which may help offset the natural decline in collagen production that occurs with age. This strategy is intended to yield long-term benefits, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin as individuals age. Collagen banking is important because the healthier and younger you are, the more collagen you will produce with collagen-producing procedures. By 60 it becomes more difficult to illicit collagen production.
How to Bank your collagen with Sculptra?
One of the most powerful tools in our collagen bank arsenal is Sculptra, a series of lactic acids that form poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Unlike traditional fillers, Sculptra is considered a “volumizer” that works by stimulating the body's own collagen production, leading to natural-looking results that improve over time. Sculptra stimulates collagen, diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and improves tissue quality of the skin with long-lasting results (25 months per treatment). Natural and youthful. It takes 8-12 weeks to see results and collagen stimulation continues to take place continuously for one year after each vial. We like to space out 3 treatments 8 weeks apart and then discuss maintenance treatments every 9-12 months after achieving desired results.
What is Sculptra and how does it work?
Sculptra is poly-L-Lactic-acid which is a sterile injectable biodegradable and biocompatible microparticle. It is injected in a deep layer where collagen naturally exists. As the beads of Sculptra biodegrade, the body is stimulated to make its own collagen
Sculptra stimulates collagen (type 1 and 3), diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and improves tissue quality of the skin. (It has been shown to increase Type 1 Collagen by 65% 3 months after injection)!
How long has Sculptra been around?
Sculptra was first used in 1999, FDA approved in 2009 and has been used in the human body since 1970 in the form of sutures.

Is Sculptra Safe?
Sculptra is safe and effective unless you are allergic to one of the ingredients (lidocaine, poly-L-Lactic acid, carboxymethylcellulose, and non-pyrogenic mannitol)
Safety has not been established in breastfeeding, pregnant or people under 18 years old
Common side effects are similar to other injectable products, such as bleeding, tenderness or pain/discomfort, redness, bruising, or swelling. These side effects generally resolve within a few hours to a few days but could last for up to 2 weeks.
What are the benefits of Sculptra?
The beauty of Sculptra lies in its ability to deliver subtle yet transformative results. Unlike traditional fillers, which can sometimes appear unnatural or overdone, Sculptra enhances your features in a way that is indiscernible to the naked eye. The gradual improvement in skin quality, coupled with long-lasting outcomes, makes it a favorite among discerning clients seeking natural rejuvenation.
The efficacy of Sculptra speaks for itself, with a staggering 95% of patients reporting improved skin glow and 89% noticing enhanced skin firmness two years post-treatment. These impressive statistics underscore the transformative power of collagen-stimulating procedures in rejuvenating the skin from within.
How long will it take to see results?
Twelve weeks is when visible results are noticeable but Sculptra peaks at 1 year and last up to five years with a series of 3.
We need a vile per decade of life for example: age 60 need 6 vials; age 20 needs two vials
Each treatment should be 6 to 8 weeks apart.
Results are seen for 25 months after the most recent Sculptra injection.
What areas can you treat with Sculptra?
Cheeks
Temples
Jawline
Smile Lines
Neck
Décolleté
Hairline
How much does Sculptra cost?
The standard treatment of Sculptra is 1 vial per lateral side of the face; however, if you are looking to add on other areas such as the temples, smile lines, jawline, neck, décolleté etc., an additional 1-2 vials is recommended.
Each vial of Sculptra is $800, so the range in cost is $1,600-$3,200.
While the investment may seem substantial, Sculptra’s longevity and natural results make it a smart choice for clients seeking graceful, long-term rejuvenation.

Be mindful of introducing bacteria to the treated areas—keep hands clean and avoid letting your phone touch your face.
Mild swelling is normal and may last up to 72 hours after treatment; this should gradually subside.
For the next 24 hours:
Avoid strenuous exercise, direct sun exposure, UV lamps, tanning beds, and extreme temperatures, as these may temporarily worsen redness, swelling, or discomfort.
