Contour Collection is a luxury Boutique Aesthetics Practice founded by two skin care enthusiasts with the dream of bringing Beverly Hills to Denver. One, a master of Brand Design, and the other, a seasoned expert in medical aesthetics, united by their passion for all things beauty.
Our story began with our CEO, Ainsley Ellington, returning to her roots in Colorado after more than a decade of working in the aesthetics industry in Los Angeles. Inspired by her experiences with world-class practitioners and cutting-edge science, she recognized a need in Denver. Thus Contour Collection was born.
Driven by her quest for excellence, Ainsley spent the next year searching for the perfect business partner, a Nurse Practitioner whose training, skill, science-mindedness, and natural talent rivaled that of a top Beverly Hills practitioner. Naturally, she was referred to Katie Averson and the rest is history.
OUR APPROACH
In the current aesthetics industry, there seems to be a trend of catering to the practitioner's needs rather than prioritizing those of the client. This results in a lack of transparency regarding pricing, insufficient knowledge of injection safety, and unrealistic expectations about treatment outcomes, leading to uncertainty, or worse, dissatisfaction in choosing the right provider. Recognizing these challenges, we created Contour to reinvent the entire aesthetic journey with a patient-first, science-backed approach, while offering a boutique, personalized experience.
At Contour Collection, our goal is to help you achieve the skin of your dreams, whether you choose to receive treatment with us or elsewhere. That's why we provide complimentary 30-minute consultations, designed to educate and empower our clients about skincare routines, various treatments, and the underlying science. While our specialty lies in facial contouring techniques that deliver effortlessly natural results, we also offer a range of non-injectable treatments that change the science of the skin. Our commitment is to cater to everyone's needs. From the minimalist to the aesthetics enthusiast, we cater to all skin types and all preferences.

Katie's passion for aesthetics began in 2017 and has only grown stronger since then. She has had the privilege of training with renowned experts such as Raj Acquilla, MD, Steven Yoelin, MD, Leslie Fletcher, RN, MEP-C, Marty Raymond, RN, BSN, CANS, Connie Brennan, APRN, AGNP-C, and Dr. Jonathan Sykes, MD in Beverly Hills, and continues to seek out the latest techniques and research in the rapidly evolving aesthetics industry.
As Contour Collection’s Clinical Director, Katie is dedicated to bringing the latest and most innovative techniques to her clients, with a focus on improving skin health and overall longevity. Her compassionate approach to client care ensures that every client feels informed and comfortable throughout their journey.
Originally from Upstate New York, Katie moved to Colorado in 2008 to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder, and later earned her Bachelor's in Nursing from Denver College of Nursing in 2015. She spent five years as a Registered Nurse in intensive care, urgent care, chemotherapy infusion, and aesthetics before pursuing a Master's in Nursing at Regis University, which she completed in May of 2021. Prior to co-founding Contour Collection, Katie also gained experience as a Clinic Manager at The Little Clinic, where she practiced Primary Care. Her commitment to evidence-based practices and scientific principles ensures that her aesthetic techniques are grounded in solid medical knowledge.
