• How are Exosomes applied?
    • Exosomes are applied topically one of two ways - after Microneedling (which we call our Exosome Glow), or via our AquaGold Device, which we call AquaGold Glow.
    • Exosomes are formulated with additional growth factors, peptides, biotin, and vitamin C. Exosomes enhance treatment results and cut down time by 50%. 
    • Growth factors play a pivotal role in maintaining firmness and elasticity in your skin.
    • Daily use of growth factors, such as applying Plated Intense or Plated Daily, is known to help reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, and improves skin tone & texture.

• What do Exosomes feel like?
    • Our goal is to provide full transparency about what to expect during the treatment process. As we have performed numerous treatments on individuals with varying skin types, we have observed that the experience may differ from person to person. Factors such as skin health, sensitivity, and thickness can influence how exosomes are perceived by each individual. Some may feel a cold, intense tingling sensation, while others may experience a subtle burning sensation. However, it's important to note that any discomfort experienced during the treatment usually subsides after 10 minutes.

• How long will it take to see results?
    • For optimal results, we recommend 3 Microneedling Exosome Glow treatments spaced 6 weeks apart. Visible results can be noticed after 1 treatment!

• Schedule your appointment at least two weeks before any major event, trip, or photoshoot to allow time for potential bruising, redness, or swelling to subside.

• Avoid PDGF+ injections within two weeks of a dental procedure or a new vaccine.

• For 3-5 days prior to your appointment:
    • Discontinue use of retinol, or other irritating products.
    • Avoid excessive sun exposure, suntan or sunburn

• For 2 days prior to your appointment:
    • Avoid alcohol and NSAIDs (like ibuprofen, Advil, or Aleve).
    • Consider taking Arnica tablets to help reduce bruising.

• Day of your appointment:
    • Have a snack before your session for comfort.
    • Feel free to come as you are—whether you’re coming straight from work with makeup on, after a workout, or just waking up. We’ll prep your skin during the procedure.

• Do not schedule:
    • if you have a current skin infection, open lesion or active breakout
    • within 1 day of an autoimmune therapy or treatment
    • if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
    • if you have taken Accutane within the last 6 months

Within the first 1 day after procedure: Unfavorable side effects (redness, inflammation, infection) may occur if skin care products NOT proven safe for use with microneedling are used 
 • For the first 8 hours:
    • apply post-procedure serum over top the exosomes
    • rinse the face completely with just water 8 hours after your appointment

• For the first 24 hours:
    • apply post-procedure serum provided to you as needed to soothe irritation and enhance hydration (no other skincare products should be used)
    • be mindful of the bacteria you might be introducing to treatment areas - think hands and phone
    • avoid makeup and even SPF
    • avoid excessive sun exposure, sweating, exercise, saunas, steam rooms

• For the first 48 hours following treatment:
    • apply sunscreen liberally (after 24 hours)
    • continue applying post-procedure serum as needed
 • For 5 days following treatment: 
    • do not put any active skin care ingredients on your skin (retin A, retinol, renova, tazarac, differin, AHA or BHA, benzoyl peroxide, or any exfoliating products that may be drying or irritating)

• For 7 days following treatment: 
    • wear SPF 30 or higher, ideally you we want you to be wearing it every day 😊
